Very cool. I love the grain texture. The hair covering her face and blowing is really effective! Nice.

Great image! One of the best nudes I've ever seen. Leave enough to the imagination, yet it revealing and provacative. One of your best. Please give us a run-down of the process! :))

Great image here man. I'm another that would be very interested if you would care to upload the original file and share your processing technique. Of course I understand if you want to keep your secrets... :)

Another area where this really shines, and not mentioned by other commenters, is in the separation of the figure shadow areas from the background shadow areas. Way too often we see images where the subject blleds off indiscriminately into a dark background, where just the hint of separation would add immeasurably to the impact of the image.

This is a synamite shot. I have nothing else to add to what Frisca said so eloquently.

it looks like a painting. its awesome. If this were a large print, I would not hesitate putting it up on my wall. I love it.

edit: I thought I would come back and leave a proper critique:

Colour, Composition, Contrast

There has been some comment that more face and less nipple would be better. To me, that's a different picture all together, and I like the emotion and feel of this one (though more face and less nipple could also be a very nice picture). You can see the outline of her lips, nose and chin if you gaze into the photo, and the nipple is beautiful without being pornographic. She is a beautiful, mysterious and exotic woman. I would not change a thing about this composition.

I also love your very unique colouring of the photo. The grain and the colouring give it a renaissance painting feel and the look is magnificent.

focus and lighting:

If you get the chance, post some details about how you took this shot, I am very curious as to what you started with originally and then what you did in post processing.

The fading of the shot around the edges adds to the warm and mysterious feel. I do think the highlights (on her knee especially) is a little blown out, but in the context of a "painting-like" photo, its completely in line. The vignetting works extremely well for the type of finished product you have created and I know you must be proud of it!

This is exquisite. Rarely have I come across better post processing.
