Photo of my yongest kid, taken at home on a sunny day. I cropped to center the photo on the focused eye. Did some healing here and there to remove some skin imperfection. Adjusted contrast and unsharp mask a bit.

the extremely shallow depth of field is a big negative for this otherwise very interesting shot

good clarity but the photo lacks interest. As it appears to me it is just some kids head that in my opinion is way to close. I find it loses feeling when shot this way. Good luck and best wishes in 2005.

what a great composition. excellent catchlights. you've really caught an inquisitive personality. you might want to slightly shift the greenish cast, though, as it detracts from an otherwise beautiful image. good luck in the challenge!

Placing his left eye smack in the middle of the frame and having his right eye out of focus makes this shot a little odd. Cute kid though, from what I can see of him.

Centering the right eye is cool give this image nice touch but the green cast on his/her nose and left eye is disturbing. white paper could have fixd it. allthoug it is a 7 :)

Focus here is spot on. I'd like this better if the lighting on the eyes was a little brighter - just to make them pop out at you a bit more. Maybe try a closer crop too. Still, this is certainly a solid image.

Perfect focus on the tyke's left eye! Breaks the convention of having the focal point near dead center of the frame, but I think it works beautifully. ....8....
