Very nicely observed. The fact that the woman is so alone, no people, cars, not even a piece of dropped litter, nothing at all to indicate there is anyone else in the world at all makes this all the more poignant - as though she is waiting and waiting for someone who will never come.

This would be damn near perfect if the person was looking in this general direction!

Surreal and emotive -- a ten!

A little too light on the face for me, but otherwise a great image. I like the beveled edge effect before the border as it seems to push the eye inward. Could use a slight counterclockwsie rotation to line up the posts and windows. Their alignment seems to cause a slight falling effect towards the right and tips the balance a bit too heavily. a 7.

Nice use of short depth of field. Nice use of black and white. I like folds in the coat.

Very dramatic. Looks like a shot taken during a theater performance.

Position within frame very effective in conveying the message within your title. B&W treatment tastefully executed and nice DOF. I like the way your subject gazes away from the camera, as if lost. Nicely captured.

Great comosition. I would have liked to see more of the mood or the personality of the subject, but i still think this is a very strong image.

strong and evocative, doesn't call attention to itself in any way, lets the scene be what it is.

Nice capture. Looks like a scene in an old movie. Where was this taken? The way she is dressed adds uniqueness to this photo. Nice capture.

I like the composition. Nice choice of the DOF. Great detail on the black coat, 7. I would have given higher if more of the face was visible but hard to expect perfection from a candid.
