Very nice photo with attractive colors and an interesting angle. Very clean focus and really nice lighting except for the thin gray area in the upper right corner. A small spot of glare on the middle (esp. upper) of the laptop. Plenty of empty space for text. I think the criticism for the angle and the (very small) shadow made by the laptop were unwarranted, the angle adds alot to the shot IMO. I bet this shot was close to a ribbon?

Close for a ribbon.
It was a good shot. Congrats.

A really good shot from an unusual angle. Great job of burning the background out (nothing that can't be edited before submitting to a stock agency). Well done.

Very professional, and great for stock photography as I understand it (plenty of space for text).

I like this but feel that the angle might take away from the shot. The colors and white background are great though.

Good advertising photo here. I think the creative angle works well as well as the framing of the subject. I might've turned the laptop just a fuzz so the keyboard was at a better angle for we viewers to see tho. Nice pic

You have a nice idea like for an ad or similar purpose. You have left some shadows that tell me it should be setting on a horizontal surface and not canted. What is the dark area in the upper right corner? IMO these things should be cleared up if you intend to sell. 6

Great work. Setting it on an angle like that really makes it better than if it were horizontal, i think.

plain white background works really well with the subject... but for me, I think the PC should be turned at least 30 to 45 degrees so we see the screen at least at an angle rather than a profile.. then again, there are few profile shots I like...

Nice and sharp, with an original angle and good composition. The white background is great for stock photography as well, and the little bit of grey near the top right just adds a little interest too. Very good photo.

Good one!!

Woo...I see what you are going for, but I think the angle is too severe.

I could see this in a stock book. 10

Good stock image, good negative space, colour and toanl range. It is squal which means can be made vertical (which is a big sale for editorial use). The background is also of the kind that allows you to shape and mold the format. A good one, congrats!

Really nice shot. I really like how you used the intentional drastic off level horizon in this shot. Good detail shown on the subject, especially with such a bright background. Looks like a shot that would be used in a magazine or brochure to me. Good luck!

This is definitely the kind of photo found in stock photography catalogues. You 've composed this image excellently with a lot of extra room for text or logos. The only thing that bothers me is that grayness in the top right hand corner, somehow it makes the laptop seem as if it has just sneezed :-) Good one!

I dont care for the angle too much and the dark area in the top right corner is distracting. Good ploy to hide the brand name though

very nice high key shot of this laptop... I really wish editing rules here allowd you to clean out the dark area in the upper right corner... trust me.. i feel your pain :) nice work... - setzler

Funny! This photo made me turn my laptop (which I'm holding) sideways to see if it's the same one. It is! It looks incredible and so crisp! I am slightly distracted by the gray spike in the upper right corner, but that can be photoshopped out (after the challenge!)

Very nice high contrast image. The shadow in the upper right corner could be thought of as adding to (very subtle leading line) or subtracting from the image (draws the eye away from the main subject). Unfortunately, I think it draws the eye away. You've done a good job of keeping the shadows to a minimum. You've certainly met the challenge.

Definitely the kind of thing you'd see in a stock art catalog -- nicely executed!

Interesting image, isolated on the white background and marketable as stock. Nice work. 8
