For such a simple picture this is very elegant. The contrast in colors, the lines created by the roads and stripes, the cement shapes, the textures, and especially the cracks in the forground side walk all add up to an excellent photo composition. The cistern lid and the circle of of bricks in the background also add to the continuity of the image. excellent eye. John Gill

Detailed, peaceful, makes you wonder where everybody is.

Very interesting shot. Almost looks like a watercolor, especially near the top. I wish the poles weren't cut off. "Waldo" is a bit too easy to pick out though, yet not very well defined.

Courious as to what this is a photo of. Nice clean clear focus, Good job of hiding Waldo at the round thing. I hate it that I don't know what this isl It's frustrating. But it is a very well done beautiful photo.

I see him/her...I think...but they're very, very far away. Waldo was never so sneaky. I like the composition and colors, though.

Great composition here, I really like this shot and it has met the challenge exactly. Nice work!

Nice picture but there's no waldo... or if there is, he/she is too obscure to tell. :(

Nice focus, coloring...unique perspective. I really like this shot. 10

Well done - The person is well hidden and the shot is still interesting. The man-hole with the cracked ground around it is a great feature. The shot has texture, patterns and a nice sense of balance. Focus and exposure are spot on. Great work.

In front/beside the "shack"? Very small waldo. Low visual impact shot. 6 Swash

Nice image. The colors and value are displayed very well. So how does this apply to the challenge??

This is by far my favorite photo for this challenge. It is the only one in my opinion that is a high quality photograph in terms of composition, colors, dof, etc. that actually HIDES a person. Great job.

Hmmm. Perhaps placing a person in this picture would enhance this shot.

There is no one in this picture, or they are too hidden for me to find ;) jgillard4
