Moment before, in a puff, a cloud of seed pods is released. The sunlight detail, a theatrical spotlight, is a nice touch.

so, what makes this art? I would say a lot of it is ambiguity. We know what is going on here. A woman is about to blow on a dandelion. But the photo seems like more than that. To me, it looks like she is about to eat the dandelion. She is so intense at this moment. Meanwhile, the sun is drawing its own picture on the lens, ignoring the natural forms of what's in front of us. And the framing is so close up that we lose the connection between foreground and background. The dandelion becomes its own sun. The grass is right against her face. She is kissing the sun.

... it was only a tempest in a teapot, they may say. LOVE this, particularly the way the light hits her face, but altogether the elements really work for me (patterns, lines, composition, background, etc). I could hang this on my wall.

A memory from childhood immortalized in stone-like tonality. 9

A 10 from me. Great mood captured here.

Sharp and smooth and the same time, some flare interest and a lovely subject. The close POV is what makes this though.

Great stuff.
