 I have had many sleepless nights due to ticking of a clock. It's usually at places where I cannot get to the clock and remove the battery.

Tidbit: Window is from old section of the house, someday I will make a coffee table out of this.

Oh wow, this is an amazing image.

I am sure it doesn't amuse you much, just have to mention that I slept through a major party across the road from me the other night where things got out of hand and people started shooting ... never heard a thing :-). It must be awful sleeping so lightly that a ticking clock wakes you :-(.

Wonderful idea, and like you I too cannot sleep with the ticking of a clock - most annoying noise ever!!! Huge congrats on the blue (and Siggy says hi ;-)

 Comments Made During the Challenge

Many components adding up to a compelling image. The claustrophobia and restlessness of imprisonment are portrayed in gut-wrenching, visceral fashion. The ghostly man has his face covered, which adds to the sense of uneasiness. The window leaning against the wall is like a useless, unreal door. The stark environment is perfect. I'm unsure about the clock. Without it, which imho would improve the photo, I would think that the noise was in his mind, but something is surely to be gained by amplifying the passage of time. Perhaps if the clock were as translucent as the figures that sense of it being so flagrantly real could be mitigated. Just a thought.
