Oh, don't feel sorry for her Margaret, she's an incredibly happy child - always laughing and smiling. She doesn't like having her photo taken though so pretty much all my photos of her are when she's daydreaming and thinking or scowling at the camera which I think gives a bit of a skewed view of her.

Is this your daughter?? That's different, you would have many opportunities to take photos of her in different moods, I thought it was one photo of a child from one of your weddings.

I will add that you are incredibly good at photos of the people. They are exceptional.

Her beautiful face is well brought out from the softer surroundings. She seems older than her years. Maybe it's her brow that's somewhat knitted. A lovely, successful portrait.

I know you. I'll skip voting because anything less than 11 wouldn't do for your model. But I think you'll manage a ribbon without me.

yes this style is just so moody and current. And her thoughtful face is looking into our souls.

The lighting may be appropriate for the expression - or vice versa - but I would love to have more light in the eyes. Lovely girl, tones, and focus.

Hardly could be better in terms of subject, exposure and color rendition. I'm slightly troubled by her unstable placement too far to the left by just a tad. Following the Renaissance convention usually solves the instability by locking an eye dead center of the composition. 8
