Captures the spirit of the exchange and Jean-Talon Marché beautifully.
I love Jean-Talon Marché. It is one of my favorite places in Montreal!

Hello from the critique club
An appealing image that meets the challenge well
Its always good to see you on the front page Marcel, especially with the coveted blue! You have captured ‘the decisive moment’ well, that split second that transforms an ordinary everyday scene into something that has a special essence. The girl’s lovely smile is a part of that moment together with the instant that she is relinquishing hold of the bag and the goods are now the customers. For even more impact, I would probably have cropped the left of the image to remove the lady completely at the point where her left elbow enters the scene. A great result for a great image, I’m proud of you Marcel, well done. |

Marcel, what a wonderful capture and the tones, comp, lighting and sense of story are just great. Huge congrats on the blue!
ETA: I can see what Sid means about cropping out the woman on the left...but she seems to be with the buyer...and, to me, her presence, her face, her expression helps epitomize the whole francophone j'est ne ce quois (sorry don't know how to do accents etc...) but I'm sure you know what I mean. Vive la Quebec libre! ;-)
