 A Great Egret (Ardea Alba) hunting in the early morning fog on the San Jacinto river as I watch from my Ascend H12 kayak, Texas, USA.

Never got that pretty sunrise for a waterscape shot so have to go with something a bit different. Not sure how this is going to do, expect a 5 or maybe worse................

An appealing image that meets the challenge well

Congratulations Ronnie, a well deserved ribbon. Another lovely image, the strong focal point of the egret in the most appropriate hotspot is what makes this impressive image really stand out. I also particularly like the distorted reflection and the mist adds a real atmosphere and calmness against the birds hunting tension. Well done Ronnie.
