 West Horseshoe Park, RMNP, on 10/06/17 10:07am. This is arguably the peak of the aspen colors at this elevation and latitude. Colors at higher elevations were subdued this year, due to the May 2017 snowstorm damaging the newly sprouted aspen leaves. That said, autumn color viewing is worth the trip to the high country. Canon EOS 5D Mark IV, Canon EF24-105mm f/4L IS II USM, 1/80s@f/13, ISO 200, lens focal length 60mm.
