 The Air Force Memorial in Arlington. I love how the design really does look like jet trails from certain angles, but the memorial is in the midst of roads and office buildings and is tough to appreciate.

The fading effect was a happy accident from selecting the sky with the magic wand. It got some reflections on the memorial so when I applied Gaussian Blur the tip seemed to be fading into the sky. Kind of liked the outcome.

PP - converted from RAW, levels, blurred/cloned out sensor dust, vignette, resized, Topaz Detail on one edge.
