I stood in the patio doorway watching our backyard hawk perch on the back of a garden chair and *scan* relentlessly for 20 minutes. Then, in an instant, POW, he launched! Knocked the chair over backwards, which threw his timing off, and the squirrel escaped. I was lucky to get this capture *just* as the wings started flexing; the second shot in the burst is chair toppling left and ass-of-hawk right :-) The focus and such aren't spot-on, but by GOLLY this meets the challenge head-first!
