I wished I would have had more time to seek out more animals for this challenge. And I have already cropped this image quite a bit. I used a focal length of 840mm to get this shot, was not able to get any closer otherwise I would have been standing in waste deep water. My dedication to DPC is not strong enough to go that far that anymore. But I appreciate the suggestions none the less!

My fav for this challenge. I thought this capture was perfect in the right balance of story telling and composition. Awesome timing too BTW! :-)

A tighter crop would really make this pop...nobody cares about the limbs. And, all the negative space adds nothing in this case. Zoom in on those warriors!

simplicity of a photo ...but still tells a story

Nice capture of the exchange between the swallows, but it probably needs some cropping in so as to achieve full effect.

Nicely minimalist, which I like, but the rendering of the birds is either too bad, or too good, to be arresting. By that I mean the birds have to be either perfectly clear and sharp (they aren't), or so negligently rendered as to be transformative (and again, they aren't). What it feels like is near miss. But it's a pleasing picture, if not quite as good as it very nearly was! Thank you.
