Shot from my back fence. Rusa deer from Indonesia were introduced into Australia's Royal National Park approximately 100 years ago. They are normally seen around our place at night. We tempted them out though with some celery and strawberries. This fawn is only a few days old but looks older as the doe is small for its species. Harsh midday Australian sun with deep shadows made the shoot difficult.

Very nice natural light scene. The little one is stealing the show here with eye contact. I also like you didn't crop out the top of the image (the trees) as this gives a whole other dimension to the viewer. A 9 from me

Nice animals, high cuteness factor, but the picture's not particularly distinguished by much beyond that. I'm being a bit unfair though; this is their real, natural environment and how else are you supposed to depict them? I guess what I'm saying is there's nothing arresting about the photo, and I think there always should be something transformative or singular added by the photographer, otherwise why take the photograph? But you're sure right about the cute part! Thank you.
