Usually, I need much more than 48 hours to come up with an idea I like, let alone creating the image itself... but I thought it could be fun to push myself a bit for a change.

I was with my 2.5 years old daughter out for a walk in the woods, as the weather was good. I had my camera with me, and when we crossed a road in the area, I quickly imagined this little project. I photographed the road a few times, with various angles, and continued the walk. The following day, when my wife got back from work, she took care of our daughter while I photographed myself swimming on a chair, with the remote in my hand. I also asked my wife to pose with that old bike we kept in the basements. A few hours of editing later, the result I envisioned was roughly there. I would have loved more time to polish many details up, but well, at least it's there, and it was good fun!

Thanks for the kind votes and comments, much appreciated.

I wanted the splashes that I knew you'd do if it were yours... then I saw your wife.

Congratulations on a ribbon in a 48-hour challenge, Christophe!

Still amazing!

Nice! I once thought of shooting something like this on grass and calling it "Depth of Field."
