Someone else's art. Not sure you've contributed anything, other than photographing a work of art, in total. The drama, impact, emotion, poetry, beauty, creativity, tension, sensationalism, etc. belong to the original artist. I gave this a good score, but I reserve the right to express my opinion on facsimiles of another artist's creation.
I totally disagree. Its a mens' bathroom in a downtown bar. the big nudity jumps out at you. the wood texture is me. the lighting is me, the reflection is me, the ceiling is me, and the sink below is me. the mood is me. You don't have to like it, but I could give my kid a 4 thousand dollar camera, put him on a breathtaking mountain, and perhaps, he takes a better shot than you. If he goes in this bathroom, does he take this shot?- NO.
BTW, look at the photos of graffiti and water and paintings with people in front of them- why don't you seek those out and comment on them?
I see that you don't receive constructive criticism gracefully. I can solve your problem by avoiding commenting on your images in the future. The low caliber of your recent response is a good example of why members avoid leaving comments. And, it seems like your response has a strong tinge of jealousy and hate. Good luck in the future, as you will need it with such a vicious attitude toward constructive criticism. As a matter of fact, I predict you won't be a photographer in the future... because you can't open your mind to the opinions of others...when they don't necessarily like your image.
eta: all other voters gave a lower average score than the vote I cast. I stand by my original comments. And, I will forever ignore you in the future.
