I tried to find a way to pay tribute and respect the style of the American photographer Mr. Aaron Siskind. Looking at the internet to study the photographic style of Mr. Aaron Siskind, I found this wall in which is suspended a sleeping vegetation during the winter period. By observing the best shooting, I propose this composition hoping to respect the photographic style of Mr. Aaron Siskind

Hoping you will like

Hello from the critique club

An interesting image that contributes well to the challenge

Good seeing and interpretation Marcel. I’m really pleased with the very positive critique you have received from your commenters, I have little to add constructively I agree with them. The image can work without the snow but my preference is with it as a base especially as it has been properly exposed it adds a soft whiteness to the rest of the image. It all works well.

A fabulous tangle. So much to explore in this photograph and it's my favourite of the challenge. The muted contrast- partly dictated by the Minimal Editing - is just about perfect. I'd probably go and ruin the image by adding too much contrast and toying with it but it's just right as it is. I even love that torn strip of white at the bottom of the frame. Glorious. 10.

Very few abstracts get an 8 from me. This one does.
