Not too original; in honor of the Impressionism challenge I decided to run the Rough Pastels filter instead of ordinary sharpening. Otherwise, just a slight RGB tone adjustment.

Very painterly. I am not sure whether a filter was applied here or whether these are jpeg artifacts--but it works for you. But what really makes the effect is the bright white flowers in the background. I would have liked to see them a little bit more involved in the photo though. One other small suggestion: I think it might have been nice to crop the bottom a little and go a bit more panoramic.

All in all, very nice calendar shot!

Flower shots are not normally my thing but, I like the effect you have created and the angle at which it is shot. It adds interest to what would have been a rather dull shot. A six from me for being different and producing a worthwhile image, well done.

I just don't care for the grainy apearance of this one. Seem over sharpened probably happened during resizing. But realy hurt this shots score.

nice pic, the effect is interesting although I can't say for certain that it works for, but that's just me
