Self portrait. This is me.

And... yeah... this ain't me! Ha!

I am happy. I am content.

I enjoy being... me. All of me... my oddness... my perfectness... my doubts... my certainty... my... life.

I was shooting for the Bob Dylan challenge... I had a male model arranged, who bailed at the last minute. So... I shot me... and started editing it to take off my head (with PS, of course)... and ended up...

Uhhh...

ended up... uhhh...

Here.

I thought I looked like a man... so I put on my son's suit jacket that was hanging in the laundry room.

I had my hair pulled back so I could open up my head more easily in Photoshop with my forehead showing

(for this shot: )... and... then... here I am.

*grin*

I took off one zit (yep, I'm as old as I look, and I had a zit) and then... I let you have it... au natural...

One of our offspring has a friend who is "transitioning" between sexes. He has a penis, but wants to have a vagina so dresses like a female and calls himself "Maddie".

So... I'm thinking that way today.

Hmmm....

I kinda like it.

This odd... masculine... me!

I remind me of my brother.

He's handsome, though... so I don't mind. *grin*

I hope people enjoy exploring my face... up close and personal. :D

I like the way the face is vertical, yet the eyes aren't level. I think that adds to it. I want to remember this for when I shoot others.

I'll be interested, if anyone gives a comment, on the gender that they think I am.

Man! I feel like a woman.

:)

I would recognize those gorgeous eyes as yours no matter what gender. I love the detail and tenderness that shows through.

Female with masculine undertones but female nonetheless, I like the honest feeling this picture gives us.

Though this would finish stronger. Definately female for me but yeah a bit butch if that's what you were going for.

Definitely female to me, from first glance. If only because of the downy cheeks and upper lip. But the eyes are somehow "feminine" also.
