The Brazil Building (also called the Brazilian Room) in Tilden Park is made from materials repurposed from the Brazil Pavilion and the 1939-40 World's Fair held on the recently-constructed Treasure Island in the middle of San Francisco Bay; the Government of Brazil donated the materials to the East Bay Regional Park District when the Exposition closed.

It is now one of the most popular venues in the Bay area for weddings and other special events, with an up-to two-year waiting list for bookings. This photo (composited with AutoStitch) was made at the 75th Anniversary celebration of the building's opening.
