Mount Olympus, the mythical home of the twelve Gods.

Zeus, Hera, Poseidon, Demetra, Athena, Apollon, Artemis, Ares, Aphrodite, Hephaestus, Hermes, Hestia.
The ancient Greeks idolized Mother Nature with these twelve figures, creating thus an exciting and eternal story.

Olympus remains today an impressive site with unparalleled and diverse physical beauty. My favorite place, perhaps the most imposing location of all the places I have ever visited, is the "Plateau of the Muses".

This summer I had the opportunity to hike two times until the mythical Plateau (2650m). I had been at the summit, the "Throne of Zeus", two times as well (summer of 2012 and 2015). It's an experience beyond descriptions.

As expected, I have taken quite a lot of images although it is hard to carry photo-equipment along with all the necessary supplies.
Here are just a couple of them:

This is great! Two images simultaneously at the front page, two yellow ribbons! Thank you!

Greetings from the Critique Club! (And congrats on the ribbon too ;-)

Dang that's an impressive couple of captures, and excellent blending to boot. I love how the elements of moon, rock and (created?) water all unite in sheer size and scope, but that tiny human figure is what helps pull it all together. The huge moon with the human just off the centre, then the eye goes down the pathway to the water to discover what lays there. The colours of each element in this pic complement and work well with each other.

Ok guess it's time to try and nitpick now...always difficult with a ribboning image...I just wish the horizon at rock and water was a little bit sharper, because the water (and reflections of course) looks great.

And it really is Mount Olympus, so pretty amazing locale! Great work Pascal Keep up the good work and hoiking camera gear up there :-)

Congratulations on the Yellow, Pascal. Thanks for the Notes, I enjoyed reading them. This is a lovely, romantic comp with an undertow of uncertainty. Fun to look at. Well done.

This was one mf my favorites, and look how it turned out!

Congrats on the ribbon, very nice image.

Would have worked great for Emotive Landscape too, maybe without the moon :)

Rock, water man and moon. Something formative about that combination.
