Yeah... It did seem like it was squirrel season. Especially since they kept coming and sleeping on my deck railing. I really, really was hoping to get him sleeping like he normally does -- with the legs hanging down over the edge of the railing. And I mean really flopped out!!

Well, he slept there a couple of times during the day, but never quite in the right position, unless he was laying on the wrong railing just to tease me!

So the dumb thing is: I still suck at expert editing. And the couch wasn't in front of the window -- it was in front of an open counter area in the kitchen. But I couldn't get the background right.

Instead of figure out out to do it better, I decided to rearrange my family room and move the couch myself... in front of the window... did I mention the couch is REALLY heavy and awkward???

Thanks to Cinders, thanks to squirrel (whatever your name is).

And thanks for all the comments!

You must be nuts about squirrels and I don't blame you. Congrats on a wonderful creation and ribbon.

Wow, this is such a fun image! Thanks for sharing your creative process too. I love how crisp and clear the image is and that squirrel on the outside looking in....

You definitely did the right thing with the couch, it always looks better when photographed in reality (when possible of course!). The squirrel attitude is perfect as well, so funny. Congrats on the ribbon!

I really love the one looking inside your lounge room, kind of wishing he was out of the rain/snow and snuggled up on the couch sleeping! I haven't even tried any of this blending stuff, maybe I should....but oh doesn't it take a lot of time...sigh!

Congrats!

Love the squirrel on the couch, but not so much the one outside the window.

I've looked at this three times now... loved it each time. So well done!

Only just now saw the stalker outside the window. Silly me... felt like I was being creeped on since I felt so comfortable with the inside squirrel and cat. :D

Adorable.
