 Inside a grand piano.

Setup
=====
Nikon 18-70 f/3.5-4.5G AF-S @ 18mm. Tripod and 5s timer.

A halogen piano light is just out of sight beyond the upper right corner. I used a flashlight to paint parts of the scene, especially the closest set of dampers.

Postprocessing
==============
Converted from RAW using dcraw and the RawPhoto plugin with GIMP 2.1.7. Cloned out some dust that I missed when I was wiping out the insides of the piano. Gaussian blur overlay. Cropped. Burned around edges. Scaled. Slight USM to compensate for scaling.

Very nice image, gourgous color and great balance. I love the light, hazy/gauss look. It gives us a feeling of romatasism.

Beautiful golden amber glow. I am torn as to whether I like the soft focus or not. It may be one of those images that I "want both".
