 Young Sandhill Crane was playing with a twig. Wanted to call this, "Look, Ma, I'm the hood of a Trans Am!!", but thought it was too long. Shot from the car window as we arrived at my in-laws - right place, right time. Five seconds earlier the sun was behind a cloud and there was no shadow.

there's a strange glow on the bird that I find distracting. but otherwise a well caught and composed shot.
