Shot with the MJKZZ kit and 4 Yongnuo 560iv Speedlights (1/128 power). Blue liquid dropped into green liquid.

Every so often I get one of those 'special drops'. I'd be a liar if I said I set out to create a ballerina however in this set I was looking to capture the ring at the bottom but with a drop on the top.

WOW, thanks for the votes and comments folks! It's only 10 years since my first ribbon (and that was a 'lucky' shot as well). Also a new PB so am pretty pleased.

Joking aside, 'lucky' might not be the correct word but most definitely fortunate. My average sized drop will fall approx 3-4mm in one millesecond - enough time to totally ruin a collision. I'm currently using 2 drops to make the spout then there are 7 other drops in this shot so it's not as simple as some people think ;)

Congratulations on the blue. Extraordinary creation of a ballerina even if that was not the intention.

LOL Lydia, my ideal women (apart from the single leg). As for the wineglass she is just showing off ;)

Rachel the Seal is possible but the bear might be a tad harder :(

I... WOULD like to know... WHY she's wearing a wineglass on her head and is in only her panties on her lower half.

I do appreciate your clothing her on the top part. Even though she has... uhh... "more boobs than most".

I can even see both of her eyes and her (rather large) nose and her unsmiling mouth.

Amazing.

Yes, I'm back to look... another time.

So... sue me.

I love this.

I don't even know how to imagine how much time and effort goes into a shot like this, Andi.

I'm so dad that this perfect ballerina paid off for you.

Edit: that was my phone seri.

Glad. Not Dad.

Sigh.

I can even see her dress! Persistance pays off, well done!! Even though I hate water drops on a whole, I appreciate your effort.

Congrats on the Blue. You've made drops cool again! Now try to make one that looks like a bear jumping through a fiery hoop...I dare you...or maybe a seal balancing a colorful ball on it's nose?
