Funny the clock was mentioned, I forgot it was there when I shot this, it belonged in the bedroom, but it was too noisey so I moved it out.

Btw this is the same holiday home from my 'leak' challenge entry, I think this one is more pleasing to the eyes though.

Congratulations on the red! Interior shots can be so difficult (I find) and this one really sets a mood. Could see it in Architectural Digest.

You're unstoppable. Only few point to get no.1 in the yearly race.
Is it the same door you used in the book cover challenge? (I know it's not but the shot looks similar)

Thanks!

No, different countries, the book cover was in NZ.....same era maybe. I can see the similarities though. I just love heritage buildings.

Congrats on the red! There's something a bit haunting about this.

Grabs the gorgeous gloss of this old house. Nice to see.

IMHO a tad too much contrast and not enough DoF

Beautifully done. Don't know why this is so nice -- can't quite pin it down. But I find it quite beautiful.

The clock is an interesting addition here, as is the rug. Nice light.

Lovely! All you need is an ancient old grandma in the chair. :-)
