Oh golly!

I really, REALLY need to make my DPL team proud of me.

I haven't so far.

*heavy sigh*

Have you ever read the book "James and The Giant Peach"?

It's a good 'un. :D

This isn't brilliant... it's not even well edited.... yet ... still... my team encourages me.

I hope you love it... and vote it highly... so... they will love me.

*sigh again*

This is the man we've hired to work for us on a project... he was SO SWEET and generous to model for me... on the hourly wage we're paying him... even though that wasn't in his contract. :D

He said he was through for the day... he'd see us tomorrow... and I asked him for five more minutes... I took TWO shots... wasn't happy at all with them... there was a door on the immediate right... but didn't want to ask him for more since it certainly wasn't his fault.

*sigh*

It's a mess.

I know it is.

But... I... kinda love it.

Please like it a little bit...

PLEASE?? *sigh*

The worse part is... I stole the peach from my daughter.

She should NOT have LEFT IT in my 'fridge.

I'll get her a new one if she objects to my having used a needle to stick a pear leaf from our yard... onto her peach she bought and put in our 'fridge.

I love you, Daughter of Mine! :D

The "knife" on the peach side is a fingernail file. Nothing else was small enough... and we have a bunch of different-sized knives. That was your trivia fact for the day.

I wish you'd tried harder then, Anita! I love the one you entered very much (quirky and fun), but I'd like to have seen your best!

This was one of my favorites of the challenge. I really like the idea, execution, and processing. Congratulations on the ribbon. Also, it's a great book. I read it to my children when they were little a very long time ago.

Quite the performance, Lydia! I'm guessing your team is pretty pleased, though they'd probably prefer you separate your ribbon shots so they aren't in the same week.... :-) I really liked this one - thought it quite nicely done and well thought out!
