The connection would be stronger for me if there was evidence that there was someone acutally living here, and not just a building in advanced decay. Having said that, this is a really nice example of decay. |

This photo is perfect in the black and white format in my opinion...it has you concentrate more on the weathering of the wood, the opened grain from exposure to water and sun while also giving you that bleak or unemotional view on a very emotional circumstance. The vines distracted me some from the window and slats of the home...but was still captivating. |

I think this would have more power in color keeping it as low key as possible, apart from that it is and tells the story. |
