I recognize that dog! So even though your thread has taught me so much over the years, there's still many of your shots that I don't quite understand. I'm finding a lot of soul in this one. There's something a bit haunting about it.

Though we have got your whisker in sharp focus, it is your inquisitive out of focus gaze that makes this interesting. That, and the background that I'm struggling to figure out.

This is so pefectly you. I think you have a dog whisperer's talent to get the best out of your delightful models. You always manage to get the most interesting expressions. Here there's an interesting combination of apprehension and anticipation, for instance.

Those eyes are so trusting, so anxious to please. I like the creative framing, anchoring the subject in a corner and letting the negative space direct the eye.
