The good old cliché.
Everybody lives separately in there own little bubbles.

I have always bin fascinated by these mini planets photos. Especially when you can put a small story or a event in it. I guess its something about its simplicity, that each one of us has our own little live going on, completely unaware about the big picture.

Hope you all like it. I am here to learn as well so don’t be shy to give me hints if there is anything that might have gone better. Thanks…

Was this taken from the mast of a boat?

Definitely one of the most thoughtful applications of this technique I have seen. Grats on the HM and 7+ score.

Hello from the critique club...

I've always been fascinated with these shots. However I have never been able to successfully make one. Everything in this shot is crisp and clear. I like the look of the sky, clouds, and bridge. Overall I would say that you did an excellent job at pulling this one off. Your score also reflects that. Good job and happy shooting

Hints? Can you let us know how you put this together? I've tried a number of times and mine never have a smooth sphere in the center... and how did you get the person in there? Quite fascinating!

Always like a small world photo that avoids an obvious seam.

What a beautiful and fun image! It appeals to the desire, childlike and otherwise, to see the world as a happy summer (again, and otherwise) day, complete and innocent. The sky is an ultimate, ideal blue, grading sweetly about the sun, with clever accents of varying shades strewn here and there.

Really well done, I've experimented before with this technique and it's quite hard to get such a good result as yours. My favorite for a ribbon. A 10 from me.
