 At the Berkeley Public Library. I think some of the marble stones on the floor are from the old "stacks" which existed before a major renovation/expansion a few years ago,

-Handheld, manual mode
-FL 36mm (35mm EQ)
-Noise-reduction with PS CS2 (default settings)
-RGB and Blue Curves
-Clone out tiny bit of handrail on the right
-Crop from the right
-Resize
-SaveAs JPEG at quality 10/10 = 488KB

Too much floor in the foreground. But the library motif fits the challenge :-).
