Not sure of the title. But the picture interests me. Which surprises me. I do like bench shots. But this one goes beyond. Probably because it the receptacle looks so much like a urn they have for flowers next to graves in cemeteries. This, with the emptiness of the shot, makes it feel kind of lonely.

Something Michael Jordan has never said.

Wonderfully processed.

The trees are tired of winter as is the bench. They are waiting for spring to bring color and someone to sit a while to enjoy the view once again.

An antithesis, I presume.

Some truths go well beyond words...this one captures such events epically...even magically.

good processing, but this scene feels like it could use some actors

Deceptively plain, yet most effective for its uncompromising and in your face steadfastness. It has an enchantment that I can't quite put my finger on. The background lawn and forest are like a shimmering doily before which are primly set bench and gussied up garbage can, crosswise path and entry skirt immodestly free of snow. Even the tree growing out of the center of the bench top, which could be called a compositional error, is blithely acceptable. "Rest a moment. Bide with me. Whenever you pass by, I'll be here."

Great title. Gotta say there have been some really good titles in this challenge. I do enjoy the conversation between your bench and the bin. So gray and dreary. Nicely seen.

A lonely seat and your title steers me to an irony that wouldn't have picked up on without your help. I'm liking the dynamic range here.

I love the flatness here. and the stick makes the shot.

This definitely needs a creature/person in it.

Yes, but the alternative is sitting right next to trash. So it's a utilitarian compromise, I suppose. Give a little to get a little. Composition is elegantly simple, balance is perfect. Than you.
