This is the first camera where I ever set aperture and shutter speed. I really didn't understand it. I think I only took one or two rolls of film with it. It was one of my dad's cameras, and I could only use b&w film with it.

I only remember one shot that I took with it, and that was of the old High Bridge in St. Paul (I lived in West St. Paul). This was a bridge that we crossed whenever we went to visit Grandma Schwartz.

In 1985, we watched the bridge as it was demolished

My husband said this was a cat portrait, but to me, it was about the camera and the interaction between it and a curious Mo. It seemed lonely by itself: I wanted someone/something appreciating it.

Thanks for the comments.

Thanks for the fun memories, Dad. I miss you...

Nicely done Wendy. When the Challenge came up, I was thinking something similar (but life got in the way). My dad has a Yashica 635. I remember him shooting B&W with that Yashica all the time. Must be that generation with their TLRs...

Really enjoy reading the notes you put with your photos.
