Thank you all - nice comments and score. I do really like this shot. I tried a square crop and it seemed too much to me, but I did like losing a lot on the left, so I went with this 4:5 ratio which I like a lot.

For me the square crop is more effective. He's a bit crowded into the left, but this is balanced by his peering into deeper spiritual realms.

Locale can sometimes provide en ambiguity of mystery and exoticism. This could be anywhere from El Paso TX to somewhere in the middle East. Good timing too.

Nice tonal work here. If I once see my work forged, you will be a choice suspect. Coming back once more on this image I definitively would square crop it. Nobody will miss the cars on the left and it would also strengthen the composition I feel. To my surprise I recognized this place from a series of photos I had seen quite recently. The spirits involved here are more bound to wine than the Arizonian arcane. Nice work.
