An exceptional use of the effect. Thank you a billion times, first and foremost, for not creating a Thomas Kinkade painting. That alone deserves a ribbon, methinks. But seriously, it's a very pleasing application, it's not overdone, it fits the mood, and I love the eeriness. The Orton Effect was strongly executed, but it fit nicely and is anything but garish. Well done.

The subtle dapple light from the window is beautiful, and the imagery of the missing furniture and the night gown reinforces your feelings so sadly. A very moving and heartfelt tribute of what was and what is, I honestly wish you well.

I think this was my favorite one in the entire challenge. If it were me handing out ribbons, this one would be in first place!

Minimal but interesting, it's difficult to see the orton effect here but I liked the result

If this had been cropped to take out the carpet I would have given it a 10.

9 from me. I love the brilliant idea to hang that garment halfway off.

Brilliant.

Love the story. I usually think of vivid colors with Orton, but this really works. :D
