Thanks Penny. not sure about the dot - possibly due to the farmer having so many sheep he has numbered one batch without dots and one with. I will ask the farmer next time I see him. Fortunately the field of sheep is in my village

Congratulations, Paul. You are the master of sheep with a touch of fog images. You definitely picked the right one.

Thanks Kees, I am sure those cute Scottish sheep would have given the Somerset sheep a run for their money.

I am always on the lookout for some sheep like these if you happen to have any like this?

No animals were harmed during the photographing of these sheep. However, they sure were annoyed.

I wonder if that little flock finds safety in numbers? Nicely found, cute sheep and I like the foggy atmospherics.

A flock of racing sheep :-)

This comes from an anecdote from my childhood. "Look dad, racing sheep!", was my reaction when i first saw marked sheep, from a train window. I don't recall the event, but it was told and re-told many times by my parents.

What awful animal abuse! (At least to some)
Did you hear about the high school pranksters that painted the numbers 1, 2, and 4 on three sheep and turned them loose in the high school? Yep, the staff spent most of the day looking for #3.
Great image.
