| What a superb photo. Well done! Great to also see you in action - I have always been amazed how you can capture these photos on the train in such close proximity to the subjects without their knowledge. Hope you never take up cycling to work:) |

| at first I could hardly bear to look at this one. with time the classic composition (echoes of la pieta?) works its magic. but I am helped knowing about the letter and that it was Christmas eve. a hard one to follow. |

Congratulations - a wonderful picture!
I can see you in the window taking it! And I'm curious about it: Did she notice you taking her picture? Did you ask her in advance or afterwards? I'm just asking because I was wondering about myself in a situation like this. I would probably not have dared to take this shot (another missed chance...) |

| Well composed photojournalism shot. The look on the subject's face, the setting, the reflections of other passengers, the sign, the newspaper all lend to many elements that engage the viewer. Interesting textures in all the fabrics nicely accented in B&W. |

i like her expression, the tones and the noise. My personal pref would have been to try to minimize the reflection in post. feels like it draws too much attention away from her
