Very Nice. Meets the challenge goal, and a creative photo too. And it has feeling. |

First impression: eerie then cheery. The grainy B&W portion of the image is almost sinister then there is this bright, industrious lady sweeping away. Had it not been for the selective saturation, this would have probably been a ho-hum image; the artistic editing makes it a compelling one. Effective composition. A most interesting submission. |

Not crazy about the SC, but that's my preference.
But that said, I love this. My favorite so far. |

Against my stereotypical esthetic (please pardon the pretentiousness), I like this partial desaturation very much. Lot of emotion in that figure. The sumptuous foreground foliage charges the atmosphere. |

I like it a lot - it's dreamy and a little sad. What a difference a little blue makes... In my top 5 |

I'm not a fan of selective desat, but I do like the concept of this image. There's so many things I want to know about the story here, and that makes it interesting to me. |

One of my favorites. Interesting lighting and the blue certainly made the subject stand out. |

I'm not a huge fan of selective desaturation, but it kinda works in a way here. I'd like to see this in full color to see how much the story changes when presented that way. |

It's a captivating image. The selective saturation is unnecessary and a bit contrived. Still, well above average. |
