I used a filter that added the light on the 2 sides, bottom and the finger print. One of the lightbox filters in Nik Analog Efex Pro.

I just love this one. No idea what rule you broke unless you layered two images together and not in a way that one could be considered a texture. I'm a neat and tidy sort of person and would have given an extra point or two if you'd skewed so the verticals were just that. 7
