Who doesn’t want to have more time nowadays? To spend it with beloved ones or with a satisfying and worthwhile pursuit, more time for taking pictures or just to relax and ponder about what’s important in life. I know – it’s my own decision to take things at a slower pace, but a little more time would be helpful sometimes…

This is the most complex entry I ever submitted for a challenge. There are far more elaborate ones in every expert editing challenge, but I’m glad I managed it this way!

I wanted to create a shot which is a mixture between the starmoney tale and the song from the Weather Girls “It’s Raining Men” – only visualizing time. So I took pictures of several watches (I especially liked the one with the crack in the glass) from different angles. And on Tuesday my daughter and I went to a lawn to take the picture of me in the starmoney pose. I choose the place, the camera settings and then changed into my evening dress – my daughter pressed the shutter three times and I changed back very quickly (it was about freezing point…). At home I combined all pictures, turning and resizing the clock faces, added a vignette and merged all levels to my Christmas Wish entry. Unfortunately the sky is quite noisy due to the large amount of post processing and I don’t know at which point I could have avoided this effect. Anyhow – it’s too late to start all over again now

Thank you for voting – whatever the result may be
Thank you for taking your TIME (!!!) for watching my picture!

Fun idea. I wish she was lit a little more since the clocks are so bright -- doesn't quite look like the same scene (should blend more together to be more realistic. Also, there's some harsh haloing around her arms, and the top part of the skirt in her hands. 7 for the idea, 5 for the processing. 6 overall
