I would like to thank all of the voters to allow me to get a position 4 and your very nice comments.
---------------
I would like to thank my optometrist M. Lapointe, owner the Glasses boutique Luce Turcot that accepted without hesitation to support me in this challenge. After I studied who is Andreas Gursky, I tried to make a photo in the style of contemporary photographer Andreas Gursky

Hoping that I make honor of the contemporary photographer Andreas Gursky with that composition. Maybe this photograph will not sold 3 million dollars but hope to get your highest vote to meet my dream....a ribbon regardless the position ;-))

Greetings from the Critique Club!

Like some of your commenters say, I too envy the fact that you *saw* this shot, and got it, and I didn't :-/

But the wide-angle length used, the repetition of sameness, coupled with perfect lighting and a subject most of us can relate to (I am wearing one of my many pairs of cheap reading glasses even as I write) make it a truly beguiling, and definitely Gursky-edque shot. And look, you got an HM out of it, very well done in any challenge!

Nitpicks...hmm sorry, but I just can't put on my Simon Cowell hat for this one. Great dof, the utter simplicity and composition make it a shot well worth framing imnsho.

Again well done, congrats on the HM and keep up the good work! :-)

the repetition is almost endearing. So glad this is in color.

Very well done - simple and complex at the same time, good backlight in varying degrees of intensity which breaks up the monotony of the scene, and top-notch composition.

When this shows up on the front page everyone is going to say to themselves ... "why didn't I think of that?". :-D Well played.
