My idea was to take a picture of a stainless steel stick in a green glass - but it turned out to be quite boring. After adding some sparkling water I liked it slightly more, dripping a dash of oil into the glass and illuminating it with a torch covered with red paper gave the final effect.

I know, the "OBJECT" (steel stick) is now only minor matter, hopefully you like this entry nevertheless. Well, I guess I can stand some DNMC comments, since I'm quite happy with this shot now.

Here are my post-processing steps:
putting a dark gardient overlay over the lower right corner
cloning out some fluff
adding some saturation and clarity (both about 15%)
croping
resize to meet challenge rules
sharpen

Ist schon saucool, wenn ich das mal so sagen darf. Da ich weiß, dass es von dir ist, enthalte ich mich der Stimme :-)

The object in the upper right corner is a distraction for me.
