 This is my good friend, I have known Dino for years, sadly I will only know him for a few more months, life is fragile, Do what you want to do NOW, no regrets.

The emotion you feel for your dear friend certainly reflects in the shot, this is in mi opinion an outstanding shot, which maybe should be printed and shared with your friend

I seem to have a very different idea of what a good DOF shot is vs the majority of the community , nevertheless

I voted this an 8. A little more light on the face would have been a 9. A little more contrast would have been a 10.

Great eyes, but it feels like there's forced DoF everywhere else. Unnatural-like. Could just be razor-thin DoF, but if it is it's too thin to make it work.

Good shallow-DOF portrait. My guess is a 50mm on full frame, 1.4 or faster? Well lit, very sharp and I like the composition.
