The color is contrary to the storyline. But that just makes it better.
I neglected to vote this challenge as we are traveling, but this is excellent. Love it. |

Cahors! Almost met you there in 2012 :-).
Wonderful intersections, especially the beer can and Gambetta's canon. |

I didn't get around to voting in this challenge, but love this one. I agree with other comments below. Votes of 1 and 3 must come from unimaginative minds. Of course, they rarely bother to leave a comment when trashing a photo, so I am left to speculate as to their reasoning. Whatever. I certainly don't agree with them. This is a very inventive image. |

This community is so whacked! This is such a brilliant, completely original photograph and two people gave it a 1 and 5 more gave it a 3!
I gave it an 8 but I regret not voting 10 because it is wonderful! |

You made a foray into the mechanics of memory and then you found yourself flooded. And I am dragged also.
Marvelous |

The most engaging photograph in the challenge. The composition, the framing, is perfect. It has the economy of a great drawing, where no mark is superfluous, and no space however empty is squandered. Beautiful tones, elegant Euclidean geometry, and a hidden narrative throbbing just beneath the skin like a heartbeat. It's like a storyboard for an indie film, with a plot development graphic built in. Alas, it's the Order of the Thumb for you, plus a 10, plus a thank you for your photograph.

Seriously interesting... the viewer has to take a long time studying all of the details... wonderful. |
