 Taken fairly early in the morning. The sky was enormously varied within just 4 or 5 miles. Over the sound there were layers of white clouds. Here, further west and over land, the clouds were much darker. The sun was low enough to create a "fringe" of light below some of the darker clouds, with what looked like the start of fractal patterns. I switched out the 10-22 lens I'd been using at the beach and put in the 70-200, which I'd fortunately grabbed as I was leaving the house "just in case".
