That is a great shot Deb. I just met Brian today and we went shooting in Pittsburgh. He is a great person. |

I do love photographs of photographs: it's such a circular argument, and it gets more absorbing with each turn. This one is improbably perfect. Best I can say of it is that it's exactly the kind of wonder-of-photography gesture that Brian himself would make. For a student of photography - I mean student in the sense of lifelong, never-sated disciple - seeing this photograph is the same as when a devoted birdwatcher sees a fabulously rare species for the first time: a moment of quiet rapture. A moment for a big breath, and a murmured "Oh, yes!" Thank you. |

Cannot begin to tell you how upset I am that I couldn't join you. Perfect evening for it. The sky was magnificent.

Wow!!! Great job! It'll be fun to try to match this up to the actual picture I took. But it'll have to wait till 2019 when I get around to developing the film. |
