Yes. I know. This is a FROG... not a TOAD.

But, it just doesn't sound the same, does it? "I get FROGily DRUNK"

Nope. No ring to it. *grin*

I'm hoping you won't notice his froggyness.

I was out with the dogs last night... walked past the pool and ... KERPLUNK!!

My heart stopped in excitement!

A FROG!! In the POOL!! (I can't catch them anywhere else. Toads are easy... frogs are IMPOSSIBLE.)

So... I turned on more lights... tried to catch him.

Tried a long time, but... I needed more hands. Hubby was already in bed asleep... *sigh*

Youngest Son had a friend over... but they were gone... DDing for another child of mine and their friends. So... I waited until they got back and, even though the friend doesn't know about "my little addiction" (frogs)...

...to his credit, he didn't blink an eye when I told him I wanted them to help me capture the frog in the pool so I could photograph him.

My kids have cool friends.

I love the image. I hope you do, too. I had SUCH fun doing it!

AND I had the Vodka bottle from the latest Absolut challenge! :D

The Patron bottle was here... not sure why... but I saved it when I found it.

:D

P.E.T.A. Notice: "No frogs were harmed during the making of this photograph. Although one did get insanely happy." Loved this one. I assume you received a signed model release so you can use it commercially....

Another amazing addition to the frog/toad gallery - would make a pretty long book by now. I'm always and still astonished by how they sit for you. Some day I hope you will reveal your secret.

Very nicely done, and you're forgiven for it being a groggy froggy instead of a toadily drunk toad :-)

You can put a spell on any amphibian, I see... I have never been able to get close to a frog/toad so that I can take a picture, and here you are, dressing them up and ordering them around like a circus pony. I am just in awe. You always manage to make the shots so believable as well.

Please do not ever stop writing your comments, it is a special treat receiving it, and one is always assured to be drawn in by the explanations on your images. And have a huge smile on one's face afterwards.

Thank you.
