Too much detail for me in the primary subjects (dock, boy and dog) here to be a true silhouette.

Not very silhouetted, is it? Unless you're talking the trees in the far distance.

Nicely seen. From a processing perspective, I think this would benefit from a slight tilt to the left to level up the horizon, and a bit more contrast towards the darker end of the spectrum.
