Hours before roll-over and I'm holding on to a 6.3. No hopes for a ribbon or HM, but maybe a top ten? I am hoping those who thought these geese were real don't regret their high votes . . .
The geese are a small part of the Spirit of Nebraska's Wilderness and Pioneer Courage Park which is made up of over 120 pieces spread over more than six city blocks. The bronzes were created by Kent Ullberg. First National Tower, against which they are almost silhouetted, is the tallest building in Omaha and was built in 2002.

A special thanks to SDW who saw the pole and chose to admire my perspective and angle :)

11th ain't bad :) Thanks.

Nikki this is GREAT. I gave one 10 in this challenge and this is it.
I really thought I was going to see a ribbon on this shot.

The geese really make this photo. Are they real? Having the foresight to have such a fast shutter speed for a photo like this to capture the moving geese is impressive. Well done.

Perfect perspective to align the geese to look real. It took me a while to see the black pole below them. I'm seeing blue in your black and white. 10

Honestly, i think that this image would have rocked without the ducks (or geese, or whatever they are). They kind of ruin it for me :-( I cannot unsee the fact the the lower most one is having only one wing (visible, that is). I expect it to plummet to the ground any moment.

WOW what a shot I can't find anythind I don't like about it.
Best in show for me. The PP is outstanding.
It would be great if you could write up a little bit on the PP steps.
I can't wait to come back and look at this later.
